Change in Management at InProcess Instruments after Twelve Years
Dr. Andreas Pickuth, born in Hamburg in 1956, is a graduate physicist. He obtained his doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) at the Institute for Applied Physics at the University of Hamburg. As a doctorand he already took great interest in high-vacuum technology, mass spectrometry and other analytical measurement techniques. In 1989 he joined Maihak AG, Hamburg, a globally acting company in the field of process and environmental engineering. There he worked as Head of Product Management and Application Laboratory, for the Department of International Business Development and, lastly, as Head of International Sales Management. After SICK AG acquired Maihak AG in 2000, Andreas Pickuth took on additional responsibilities in international market management and was appointed to a variety of Board of Directors positions of internationally active associated companies and subsidiaries, particularly in the Asian region.
