Labomatic and KNAUER enter into strategic cooperation
Customers in the field of liquid chromatography in particular are likely to benefit from the complementary expertise
KNAUER manufactures high-tech laboratory instruments for research, routine analysis, quality assurance and other applications, including analytical liquid chromatography systems for a flow rate range from 0.001 to 10 ml/min at up to 862 bar pressure. The preparative HPLC systems from KNAUER can be used for continuous operation in a flow range from 5 to 200 ml/min up to 100 bar pressure – in non-permanent operation up to 400 ml/min.
LABOMATIC manufactures preparative and process HPLC systems and components, also for use in ATEX and GMP areas. The expertise in preparative systems lies in the higher flow rate range of 0.28 to 2.0 l/min at pressures up to 600 bar. The process HPLC systems can deliver a flow rate of up to 9.0 l/min at pressures of up to 380 bar. Liquid handling systems are the second product field. LABOMATIC is the only company to offer customized solutions in terms of size and application.
Both companies serve end users, sales partners and OEM customers. Customers in the liquid chromatography segment in particular are likely to benefit from the complementary expertise, especially in terms of flow rate and pressure ranges. KNAUER will be able to offer higher maximum flow rates and pressure ranges and LABOMATIC will also be able to offer analytical solutions.
