SPECTROstar Nano
Microplate or cuvette, the SPECTROstar®Nano delivers a full UV/Vis spectrum in <1 sec per well
BMG LABTECH GmbH
Flexible: UV/vis spectrometer for microplate and cuvette
Ultra fast: spectra from 220 to 1000 nm in <1s/well
Space-saving: spectrometer and incubation shaker in a single instrument
Measuring, shaking, tempering and evaluation made easy
The SPECTROstar® Nano Absorption Microplate Reader enables fast and easy absorption measurements, in both microplates and cuvettes. Thanks to its ultrafast spectrometer, the reader captures the complete UV/vis spectrum from 220 to 1000 nm in less than 1 second per well, and all this with a resolution down to 1 nm.
Thanks to its predefined assay protocols, the SPECTROstar Nano lets you start and evaluate your absorbance measurements with just a single click. ELISAs, DNA and RNA quantification, protein determination (Bradford, BCA, Lowry), cell growth, MTT (toxicity) and enzyme kinetics assays have never been easier to do. The SPECTROstar Nano allows you to measure full UV/Vis spectrum absorbance from 220 to 1000 nm with a resolution down to 1 nm in less than 1 second per well, thanks to the high-speed CCD spectrometer.
The various shaking functions and the gas valve will also let you easily perform cell-based assays, e.g. for microbial growth or metabolic reactions.
The well scanning function allows you to acquire up to 900 data points per well. It guarantees reproducible and comparable measurement results, even for samples containing insoluble particles.
Stay flexible in your choice of reaction vessel: measure your samples either in a cuvette or a microplate with 96, 384 or 1536 wells. For samples of up to 2 μL, the SPECTROstar Nano can be expanded with the compatible BMG LABTECH LVis Plate.
BMG LABTECH's customers trust in over 30 years of experience. Find out for yourself!
