Kendro Laboratory Products acquires H+P Labortechnik
Kendro Laboratory Products has strengthened its commitment to growth in the life science market with the acquisition of H+P Labortechnik AG. H+P provides sterilizers, high performance stirrers, and biosafe waste water sterlizers for the pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, and medical markets.
For more than 27 years, H+P has been a respected brand through its consistent awareness of customer needs and the introduction of high quality, high performance products. Its headquarters and production facilities are located in Oberschleißheim, Germany, near Munich.
"We have acquired H+P to provide Kendro with several new product lines, which we expect to introduce to the extensive Kendro worldwide sales channels," said Dennis M. Pope, President of Kendro. "H+P has a premier product position with a high quality image and many loyal customers resulting in a strong complementary fit to the brands and image of Kendro. The acquisition also expands Kendro's technology base which will enhance our ability to meet customer needs."
Dr. Helmut Herz, founder of H+P, will continue in the new organization under the title of Managing Director. Mr. Pope will become Chairman of the H+P management board, joined by Dr. Herz and Uwe Gernens, VP Finance Kendro Europe.
